That could be very time consuming and internet quiz you from doing other more productive things. However, by having a stock thank you already typed up that you can just copy and paste, you can save yourself hours of time and free yourself up to do other things.
The key is to look at the main topic of your forum and see if you can think of some subjects that might be a little off the beaten path but still relevant to the forum itself. Sure, it's going to take a bit of thought. After all, the common topics are easy to think of. People are doing it all the time. It's when you think outside of the box that you're going to get other members to notice. And when THAT happens, they'll begin to notice you. They'll start to look for your contributions.
